Community outreach meets on safer, greener city streets

A Better Streets Plan community outreach meeting will be held to share ideas on how to make The City’s streets safer, greener and more accessible for all.

The Better Streets Plan process brings multiple city agencies together with a particular focus on the pedestrian environment and how streets can be used as public space. The Better Streets Plan will consist of two primary elements: the Streetscape Master Plan and the Pedestrian Transportation Master Plan.

The community event will be held tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the West Portal Playground Clubhouse at 139 Lenox Way.
