City College student busted using handicapped parking placard

A City College of San Francisco student didn’t even try to act disabled when she left her car in a handicapped space in the school parking lot Monday.

The student had a handicapped parking placard, but when she hopped out of her car around 11:35 a.m., she looked rather “able-bodied,” which made a City College cop suspicious.

The cop learned she was not only using the placard illegally but also driving with a suspended license, police said.

The placard was seized and returned to its rightful owner, while the student was slapped with citations.

Parking placard abuse is nothing new in San Francisco.
