City charts progress on CleanPowerSF 

City officials are going to give an update about companies interested in running the city’s proposed CleanPowerSF program.

On Friday, at 2pm at City Hall in Room 250, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and the Local Agency Formation Commission hold a joint meeting on the status of the request for proposals, which includes a presentations on responses received, to run the CleanPowerSF program, otherwise known as Community Choice Aggregation.

The meeting is also expected to provide an update of the next steps for the program.

In November, the board of Supervisors approved legislation to authorize the issuance of the proposal request.
