City begins improvements on Cesar Chavez corridor

Who doesn’t want cleaner, greener and nicer streets? The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and the San Francisco Department of Public Works is taking the lead to implement some major sewer and streetscape improvements on the Cesar Chavez corridor, including more trees, landscaping, bike lanes and other pedestrian-friendly projects.

These improvements will be implemented through two phases of construction, starting with sewer improvements, according to the SFPUC. Oh , and don’t worry, your sewer service will not be interrupted during construction.
