Christina Aguilera’s friends are worried about her

After her arrest for public intoxication, Christina Aguilera’s friends are voicing their concerns for her.

Since divorcing Jordan Bratman and taking up with insta-beau Matt Rutler — who was busted for DUI during Tuesday’s incident — “she’s not being honest with herself,” a friend confides to People magazine. “She’s saying she’s this strong independent woman and she’s fine, but what she’s not stepping back to realize is that moving on after a divorce is not easy.”

“She thinks she’s gotten her life together and has already moved on,” adds the source, “when maybe she still needs to process it some more.”

As for her rebound romance with Matt, “there’s a real concern about this guy, and a lot of her friends feel she needs to get away from him,” notes the “Burlesque” star’s buddy. “Hopefully, what happened [on Tuesday] is a real wake up call.”

Mum’s the Word

Once upon a time, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears were rivals. And not too long ago, Christina’s musical career had eclipsed Britney’s — not to mention that Xtina was a happily married mom, while Britney’s life was spiraling out of control and her children were taken away.

Wow, how the pendulum has swung. While Christina’s professional and personal life are currently cause for concern, Britney’s topping the charts and sounds downright … well-adjusted.

“I’m past all of that,” the “Hold It Against Me” singer told V magazine of her head-shaving, SUV-bashing days a few years back. “I try to block it all out and not pay attention to anything they write about me in the magazines or online. I’m done with that.”

“There’s nothing to say” about that time of her life, the cover girl maintains. “I’ll let the music speak for me.” (Her new album, “Femme Fatale,” is out soon.)

Though the pop star once opened up her life with Kevin Federline to the public in her reality show “Chaotic,” she now keeps her private life, well, private.

“I think it’s easier to let people in when you’re younger, but when I became a mother I wanted more privacy for myself and my children,” Britney says. “A life away from my life.”

Our girl has come such a long way! Now, if only she’d have a little heart-to-heart with Xtina ...

Mad at Dad

Lindsay Lohan has turned down “Celebrity Rehab” in the past ... and she’s not happy that father Michael Lohan has now taken a slot, according to TMZ.

Sources reportedly say the actress is “shocked and upset” that her father has started filming the show, and worried about being humiliated by whatever he does on camera.

Can’t say as we blame her. And isn’t he supposed to be sober?

Spicing Things Up

Kathy Griffin apparently has a new guy — the Old Spice Guy, to be exact. The outspoken comedian has been dating Isaiah Mustafa, who starred in a series of memorable deodorant ads, for several months, according to Us magazine.

“They are not boyfriend-girlfriend, but they are definitely spending time together and getting to know each other,” a source told the tabloid.

The pair were allegedly caught canoodling when the actor visited the “My Life on the D List” star on the set of “Glee.” Aw, you kids!
