Cheap burgers for community workers

Hard Rock Cafe San Francisco today is honoring men and women who serve and protect the public with a tasty promotion: the eatery’s Hard Rock Legendary Burgers will be served for just 71 cents, commemorating 1971, the birth year of Hard Rock. The "Burger Badge Bash" will be offered between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and after 6 p.m., while supplies last. Police, firefighters and emergency medical technicians are invited to enjoy one inexpensive burger.

The restaurant is located on Pier 39 at Beach Street and The Embarcadero.
