Chamber of Commerce launches website focusing on supervisors’ voting records

The Chamber of Commerce is carpet bombing San Francisco with an aggressive ad campaign that is supposed to “arouse curiosity” among voters when considering the election this November.

The three-week campaign asks three simple questions:

  1. Is your city supervisor for paychecks or pink slips?
  2. Is your city supervisor for buses or benefits?
  3. Is your city supervisor for parks or pensions?

Voters can find the answers to these questions at a newly launched website.

“The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce thinks it’s important for voters to know how the Board of Supervisors is voting when it comes to the key issues impacting our economy and the future of our city,” Chamber President and CEO Steve Falk said. “The goal of this campaign is to get San Francisco voters thinking — and talking — about these issues well in advance of the November general election.”
