Central Subway Community Advisory Group meeting tonight

Fresh off the news that the federal government has issued renewed support for a $200 million funding allocation for the project and with new construction work starting up near Union Square, local residents will discuss other updates to Muni’s $1.6 billion Central Subway undertaking.

The Central Subway Community Advisory Group will convene at 6 p.m. at the headquarters of SPUR, a think-tank located on 654 Mission St.

The CAG will get updated reports on the project, which is slated to extend Muni’s Metro service from the SoMa district to Chinatown.
