Here’s what’s in the stars for the stars in the coming year! (Assuming the world doesn’t end.)

Aries: Kourtney Kardashian

With their second baby on the way, Kourtney seems like she’s on the road to settling down with longtime beau Scott Disick. But there’s a definite chance she could go solo this year, and start her own business separate from reality stardom and celebrity-baby-mama status.

Taurus: George Clooney

The notorious bachelor’s latest relationship, with Stacy Keibler, is likely to break down sometime between mid-May and the end of June, when Venus is retrograde in Gemini — inspiring him to change his mind when it comes to matters of the heart. New passions will start to roil around the end of November.

Gemini: Angelina Jolie

When Jupiter, the planet of expansion, enters the sign of the twins in June, it just might coincide with news that Angie is expecting another multiple birth — after all, it’s been a long 3½ years since she and Brad Pitt welcomed sibs Knox and Vivienne. For all we know, the Oscar winner is popping fertility pills now — and could end up imitating the “octomom” who, ironically, sought to imitate her.

Cancer: Tom Cruise
The middle-aged megastar is proving with a new “Mission: Impossible” flick and the musical “Rock of Ages” that he can still play an action hero and a rock star. But the balance of power in Hollywood is slowly, inexorably shifting toward a younger generation of celebs such as wife Katie Holmes. By year’s end, Tom may be in her shadow rather than the other way around.

Leo: Jennifer Lopez

Back on the market after the demise of her marriage to Marc Anthony, J.Lo is likely to tire of her rebound romance with backup dancer Casper Smart sooner rather than later. Her focus in 2012 will be on reclaiming her place in pop culture and expanding her brand as a still-sexy diva.

Virgo: Beyoncé

Mars is retrograde in Virgo from late January until early April, which coincides nicely with what will effectively be the “Countdown” singer’s maternity leave. After the action planet goes direct again, she’ll likely be itching to jump back into the game — and manage to record a new album, design a fall collection and shoot a movie between diaper changes.

Libra: Matt Damon

Could this be the year that Matt Damon finally starts getting serious about politics — and makes a run for office? With Saturn in the actor’s sun sign until October, he’s got added gravitas. And with his “Bourne” days behind him, it’s time for his career to be, pardon the pun, reborn.

Scorpio: Ryan Gosling

But of course Ryan is a sexy, brooding, smoldering Scorpio — we don’t make this stuff up, people! Look for his romance with Eva Mendes, born under the fellow water sign of Pisces, to deepen over the coming months. But can they sustain the romantic fairy tale through all of 2012?

Sagittarius: Britney Spears

The newly engaged pop star may shake things up in the second half of 2012 as a steady schedule of work gives way to a more spontaneous way of life with hubby-to-be Jason Trawick. We’ll see a new side of Britney, possibly as she enters into a business partnership with her man to develop up-and-coming artists.

Capricorn: Kate Middleton

Goats are known for being ambitious, and in 2011 Kate scored a pretty plum gig: queen in training. The duchess of Cambridge’s status and influence are likely to expand internationally in 2012 as she proves with aplomb she’s more than just a pretty face and pretty outfits.

Aquarius: Justin Timberlake

Will J.T. follow in the footsteps of his ex-girlfriend Britney and make plans to tie the knot this year? Don’t bet on it. Though he recently reconnected with longtime love Jessica Biel, the “Social Network” star could find himself wanting to strike out on his own in 2012 when Mars opposes Uranus in July.

Pisces: Justin Bieber

This year could bring some soul-searching for the sensitive Piscean crooner, as he reflects on whether he’s truly following his dreams or just living up to an image that others have created for him. It’s highly unlikely the cute, clean-cut Canadian will get sucked into the cliché of self-destructive teen-idol behavior, but never say never.
