Casinos betting on MacroView apps

Some have estimated that by 2013, more people will access the Internet through mobile phones than personal computers. Smartphone and tabloid applications are the future and a San Francisco-based company, MacroView Labs, is leading the pack in delivering crucial information to consumers in the mobile space.

MacroView Labs is the largest developer of casino apps in the United States, and millions of people around the world use the mobile solutions the company has built, attracting thousands of downloads every day.

“We’re going to see a situation where more and more companies moving forward are going to say ‘It’s no longer an option for us not to be present on mobile. We have to be present on mobile,’ given that more and more consumers have said that they are comfortable spending money via their mobile devices, and due to how many people are consuming information via their mobile devices,” CEO Aron Ezra said.

Some of the casinos MacroView Labs has worked with include Las Vegas’ Bellagio, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, New York New York and the Palms.

“Casinos are a big part of our business, and I think that is due to the fact that in the gaming space, casinos really like pushing the envelope with new technology and they’re always looking to raise the bar, they’re looking for the next big thing, so a lot of our early adopters were casinos, because a lot of those organizations have a mandate for looking closely at new technologies, but we do work across different industries,” Ezra said.

The award-winning mobile software company helps customers and their target audiences understand and interact with each other in the mobile world. Ezra started MacroView in 2008, and the company is continuing to push mobile technology to a whole new level while impacting its clients’ businesses and overall images to greater heights.

The company has also worked with many hospitals, retailers and hotels that are not associated with casinos. MacroView Labs has worked with Tanger Outlet Centers, with 30 shopping outlet malls across the country, nonprofits including the Los Angeles Film Festival, Miami’s Fontainebleau Hotel and Mexico’s Rancho La Puerta.

“We try to work across a lot of different industries, take the best practices that we learn in many different industries and help bring those to each of the other industries, and so I think there’s a nice cross- pollination of ideas that we are able to do through it,” Ezra said.

MacroView Labs’ proprietary platform allows customers to include many functionalities in a single app and allows that app to work across multiple mobile platforms. The company provides ongoing development, hosting, best practice mobile consulting, unlimited upgrades and account management activities. Users can access schedules, GPS maps, games, activities and other concierge services via the apps.
