Campos' immigration to come before full board

Supervisor David Campos' much-debated legislation regarding undocumented immigrant youths comes before the full Board of Supervisors on Tuesday.

Current policy, put in place by Mayor Gavin Newsom, requires that such youths be reported to federal officials after being arrested on suspicion of a felony. Under Campos’ proposal, youths would have to be convicted before being reported.

The board meeting is at 2 p.m. at City Hall.
