A man was struck and killed by a Caltrain Baby Bullet in Palo Alto on Saturday. It is the 14th fatality on Caltrain tracks this year.

The incident happened at 10:56 a.m. when a northbound train struck the individual at the California Avenue station, Caltrain said. It was not scheduled to stop at that station. About 320 passengers were aboard the train. At 12:19, they were transferred to another northbound train.

As of 2:30 p.m., trains were running in both directions at the station. The agency said it was still experiencing delays of up to 60 minutes.

The San Mateo County transit police are handling the investigation.
