Caltrain delayed due to mechanical problems

Caltrain is experiencing delays of 10 to 20 minutes Tuesday morning due to mechanical problems, Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said.

Southbound train 312, an express train that left San Francisco at 6:59 a.m., has been canceled due to mechanical problems, Dunn said. The train stopped at Millbrae Station. Roughly 500 passengers were transferred to the next southbound train, 314.

Caltrain reports that the 314 will make an extra stop in Redwood City.
