Cal Poly-SLO comes back to beat UC Davis 67-65 

Will Taylor had 18 points and nine rebounds, and Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo overcame a 17-point second-half deficit to defeat UC Davis 67-65 on Saturday night.

David Hanson had 12 points and hit a 3-pointer with 1:09 remaining to give the Mustangs (12-10, 3-6 Big West) a 67-64 lead.

After a free throw, the Aggies (1-19, 0-8) had the last shot, but two attempts to tie missed, and on the third, Eddie Miller hit nothing but net — but after the buzzer, the officials ruled.

Miller scored 16 points and Harrison DuPont 13 for UC Davis.

Cal Poly trailed 59-45 with 8:58 remaining before going on an 11-0 run. Chris Eversley's 3-pointer gave the Mustangs their first lead, 64-62, with 2:10 remaining.

Les Tyler and Alex Tiffin had 10 points each for the Aggies.
