Cable car service resumes after disruption

A disabled truck that disrupted cable car service in San Francisco on Wednesday morning has been removed and normal service has resumed, a San Francisco Municipal Railway spokesman said.

The truck became disabled at about 9 a.m. on Jackson Street between Mason and Taylor streets.

Service was disrupted on the Hyde Street portion of the Powell-Hyde line and the Mason Street portion of the Powell-Mason line, Muni spokesman Judson True said.

Bus shuttles were set up to accommodate affected riders, and normal service resumed shortly after 10 a.m.
