Cable car service restored on two lines

Cable car service has been restored to the California line and the Hyde Street portion of the Powell-Hyde line in San Francisco after a
disruption caused by a cable problem earlier Monday.

The problem was reported shortly after 11:30 a.m.

Service on the Powell-Hyde line was restored shortly before 1 p.m., and service on the California line was restored just before 3:30 p.m.,
San Francisco Municipal Railway spokeswoman Kristen Holland said.
