Cabbie robbed at knifepoint in Western Addition 

A cab driver was robbed at knifepoint in the Western Addition on Thursday, police said.

The 70-year-old cabbie picked up the thief, described as a man in his 50s, and drove him to the intersection of Sutter and Baker streets around 1:50 a.m., police said.

The passenger then pulled out a knife, put it to the cabbie’s throat, and demanded cash.

The cab driver complied and the thug fled on foot, police said. No arrest has been made.
