Business briefs: More Fisher-Price recalls 

Mattel Inc. (MAT) recalled an additional 38,000 "Go Diego Go!" toys as part of a larger recall of 665,000 lead-contaminated children’s products, a government safety group announced. Thursday’s recall involved 38,000 Go Diego Go! Animal Rescue Boats, manufactured in China and imported by Fisher-Price. The company issued two major recalls in August.

WARREN BUFFETT

The American billionaire investor said Thursday that problems in the U.S. subprime-mortgage market will likely weigh on consumers for up to two years, but the U.S. economy will weather the storm. The subprime crisis "is having an impact," the chairman and chief executive of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRKB) said on his first visit to South Korea.
