Business briefs: Disney on Xbox 

Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) says it has struck a deal to make 35 Walt Disney Co. (DIS) movies such as "Aladdin" and "Armageddon" available for download on its online video game service. The high-definition movies will be available to U.S. subscribers of Microsoft’s Xbox Live. The agreement with Disney-ABC Domestic Television will also allow Xbox 360 owners to rent films on demand.

CHINA ECONOMY

China’s sizzling economy grew even faster in 2006 than previously reported, checking in at an estimated 11.1 percent and bringing the estimated $2.705 trillion economy closer to overtaking Germany as the world’s third-largest. China’s export-fueled foreign reserves have risen to a new high of $1.33 trillion, according to figures released Wednesday.
