Brute slashes woman for refusing sexual advances in Tenderloin

A sex-crazed slasher is being sought in connection with a late-night attack Tuesday on a woman who was simply walking home in the Tenderloin.

The woman, 33, was sliced across the cheek and stabbed in the arm after refusing the deranged stranger’s request for oral sex, police said. The victim reportedly did not know the suspect. The attack happened in the 400 block of Ellis Street, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.

About 11:25 p.m., the man demanded that the woman pleasure him in exchange for crack cocaine. The woman was attacked after rejecting the offer, Esparza said.

The thug slashed her across the cheek with a Swiss army-size knife, Esparza said, then pulled out some kind of sharp pick and stabbed her in the arm. The injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

The woman managed to flee to her nearby apartment, where she called police. But the suspect was gone before cops arrived.

“She said it happened so fast,” Esparza said.

Police described the suspect as a bald black man in his 30s or 40s standing 5-foot-7 and weighing about 190 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt and faded blue jeans, possibly with the acronym FUBU on the pants.
