Britney Spears to perform in San Francisco for ‘Good Morning America’

Britney Spears has boldly promised San Francisco a “morning to remember.”

The pop star announced in a video message to fans Thursday that she’ll be performing in the Castro district in San Francisco for ABC’s “Good Morning America” on March 29. Her latest album, “Femme Fatale,” is set to drop that day.

Rumor has it the stage will be set in front of The Castro Theatre for the 10 a.m. performance.

In a 24-second video message posted on YouTube, Spears sounded a bit coarse, as if she may be battling a cold. But the message was bold and clear.

“I’m excited to tell you on Tuesday morning, March 29, I’ll be performing for the first time ever in a special concert in San Francisco’s historic Castro district on ‘Good Morning America.’ And I promise you it’ll be a morning to remember. See you soon!”
