Bright bulb: New Orleans preparing for Hurricane Gustav 

On Friday, the third anniversary of Hurricane Katrina making landfall, weather forecasters said there is a better-than-even chance that Gustav will hit New Orleans. But this time no one is taking any chances: the National Guard was readying, nursing homes and hospitals began evacuation plans, Katrina victims living in temporary shelters along the Mississippi border should be evacuated and an evacuation order for New Orleans was also likely. This smart move to be prepared also comes after a study was released that shows almost half of the Katrina victims were elderly.
