Brazen brutes strike hard across San Francisco 

Violence reigned as brazen brutes beat and robbed San Francisco citizens this week.

1100 block of Pine Street
5 p.m. Wednesday

Three goons ambushed a 59-year-old man and stole his wallet, police said. One of the thugs punched the victim in the face while the other two grabbed him and took his cash. The goons fled on foot.

1000 block of Rhode Island
6:30 p.m. Wednesday

A 36-year-old man was tackled, punched and robbed of his cellphone by two young punks, police said. The victim was talking on the phone when the hooligans approached and startled him. He ran and the suspects, aged 18 to 20, gave chase and tackled him. One of the goons socked in the face while the other took his phone before fleeing.

O’Farrell and Larkin streets
Midnight Thursday

A 39-year-old man looking for drugs was jumped by two ruffians, police said. The crooks went through the victim’s pockets and took his cash and keys then fled on foot. The victim was treated at the hospital for his nonlife-threatening injuries.

Unit block of Jones Street
7 p.m. Wednesday

Three goons jacked a man of his cellphone then struck him in the head when he tried to retrieve it, police said. The 27-year-old victim was walking with his phone in his hand when one of the crooks snatched it. He gave chase and two the crooks accomplices attacked him. The goons, described as men aged 25 to 30, fled on foot.
