Brawlers battle turns bloody in San Francisco's Mission district

An argument between four men in the Mission district dissolved into a brutal beating on Thursday, cops said.

The two-on-two sidewalk battle in the 3000 block of Mission Street left two men bloodied and bruised at around 1:50 a.m.

A victim in his 20s suffered abrasions to his shoulder and bruising on his head. He was treated at the hospital for his nonlife-threatening injuries. A victim in his 30s refused treatment for a bloody nose, police said.

The assailants then fled on foot and there has been no arrest.
