Boy, 14, injured in Western Addition shooting on Saturday 

A 14-year-old boy was injured in a shooting in the Western Addition on Saturday, police said.

The boy was talking to a friend in the 600 block of Larch Way about 3:32 a.m. when two men in their 20s yelled at him. The boy then heard gunshots and ran inside his home. That's when he realized he had been shot in the back and shoulder.

The boy was hospitalized but his injuries were not life-threatening.
