Bonds drops to third place

While he is still in line to start for the National League in the July 10 All-Star Game at AT&T Park, Barry Bonds slipped to third among the outfielders — and his spot is far from safe. The Giants’ slugger was passed by Cincinnati’s Ken Griffey Jr., who surged from fourth to second, just 9,201 votes ahead of Bonds. Bonds is 3,899 votes ahead of the Chicago Cubs’ Alfonso Soriano for the final starting spot.
