Boehner promises vote to slash Obamacare slush fund

Speaker John Boehner says in a video released yesterday that the House will vote on slashing the mandatory spending contained within Obamacare. The effort will probably come to nothing for now -- the Senate is unlikely to cooperate -- but it presents an opportunity to make the case that President Obama has been systematically shielding himself from oversight, and that Congress should be taking a more active role in overseeing funds for programs like these.

And note Boehner's use of the term "job-crushing" instead of "job-killing" while describing Obamacare. Who said we can't all be civil?
