Body found in S.F. fire 

Firefighters discovered a body at the site of a single-alarm fire that burned briefly this morning in San Francisco, according to fire officials. The blaze was reported at 3:09 a.m. and brought firefighters to a two-story home near the intersection of San Anselmo Avenue and Monterey Boulevard. By 3:56 a.m., the fire had been brought under control.

Officials said a woman’s body was found during the effort to put out the flames. Two firefighters sustained minor injuries while combating the blaze and were taken to San Francisco General Hospital. No other information was immediately available.
