Bledsoe hangs ’em up

Quarterback Drew Bledsoe, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the 1993 NFL draft and carved out a nice 15-year career with three teams, retired after throwing for 44,611 yards and 251 touchdown passes with the Patriots, Bills and Cowboys. "I fulfilled a childhood dream the first time I stepped on an NFL field, and the league did not let me down one time. I retire with a smile on my face," he said.
