Bill Graham Birthday Bash just around the corner

Yes, it’s that time of year again, believe it or not — tickets have just gone on sale for the annual Bill Graham’s 81st Birthday Bash, at the Fillmore this Jan. 7.

This lineup is Hot Tuna (electric) plus special guest David Bromberg, with (of course) any possibility of surprise well-wishing cameos. Plus birthday cake and a silent auction with poster art, photography, tickets and other treats. All benefitting the Bill Graham Memorial Foundation, which just funded nearly a hundred diverse and deserving projects in this last grant cycle.

There are also special collector’s packages that include a ticket to the show, one historic poster from a previous Bill Graham Memorial Foundation event, and a limited-edition Bill Graham San Francisco Giants bobblehead (which will also be available in exchange for a $50 donation at www.bilgrahamfoundation.org).

There is also an ultralimited number of VIP packages ($200; E-mail bgmfvip@slotix.com) that include a reserved seat, complimentary parking, two premium drinks and an actual signed poster from the event.
