Bigfoot claim proven false

Two men who claimed to have the 500-pound body of a Bigfoot were fakes who froze a hairy rubber costume filled with animal parts, Menlo Park-based Searching for Bigfoot Inc. founder Tom Biscardi said Tuesday.

Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer appeared at a Palo Alto hotel Friday and said they had found Big foot in a secluded part of north Georgia. Biscardi initially supported the men, but discovered the hoax Sunday as they thawed the frozen body.
