Bicyclist struck by truck in downtown San Francisco dies 

The bicyclist who was struck by a food delivery truck in the Financial District on Wednesday has died.

The San Francisco Medical Examiner identified the bicyclist Thursday as Nancy Ho, 25, of San Francisco.

Ho was struck at Fremont and Mission streets just after 8 a.m.

The food delivery truck was heading west on Mission. Ho, who was heading east, made an illegal left turn onto Fremont in front of the truck. She was not wearing a helmet, police said.

The truck driver was not injured and remained at the scene. He was not intoxicated at the time of the crash, police said.

Pedestrians in the area were devastated as they walked past the grim scene on their way to work.

The crash remains under investigation.
