Bicyclist runs into Muni vehicle in San Francisco, seriously injured 

A bicyclist was transported to the hospital after hitting a Muni bus Wednesday evening in the Inner Sunset neighborhood, according to transit officials.

The incident occurred around 5 p.m. at 8th Avenue and Judah Street, according to San Francisco fire dispatch.

San Francisco Municipal Transit Agency spokesman Paul Rose said the bicyclist hit a 43-Masonic heading west on Judah.

The speed and if the coach was at a stop is unknown.

The bicyclist suffered serious injuries, according to fire officials, and was transported to San Francisco General Hospital.

Muni lines are not affected by the incident.
