Temperatures were at a seasonal low throughout the region Wednesday morning, forecaster Bob Benjamin said, with thermometers dipping to 43 degrees in San Francisco, 32 degrees in Redwood City and 42 degrees in Oakland.
But Wednesday’s chilliness is no match for the frigid weather still to come, Benjamin concedes.
An air mass settling was expected to cause cooler temperatures this morning.
Temperatures are expected to stay below average during the rainy weekend, and won’t start to come back up to near normal until next Tuesday or Wednesday, Benjamin said.
