BART to start service later on MLK Holiday

BART will be operating on its normal Saturday schedule for Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday on Monday, a change that will affect passengers who use the service during the early-morning hours.

Instead of starting trains at the normal weekday time of 4 a.m., BART will push back the start of their service until 6 a.m. on Monday, in observance of the holiday. BART passengers affected by the scheduling change are encouraged to get more information online at www.bart.gov.

Along with the late-start times, BART will operate its parking lots under holiday protocols, meaning parking permit and fee requirements will not be enforced.
