Barry drops out of top three

Last week, Giants slugger Barry Bonds was ahead of the Chicago Cubs’ Alfonso Soriano by 3,899 votes as the third outfielder to start in this year’s All-Star Game at AT&T Park. Now, he’s trailing Soriano by 42,009 votes.

Bonds has fallen out of the top three in the NL outfield while the Mets’ Carlos Beltran is first to reach the one million vote plateau (1,017,795).

The Giants’ Bengie Molina, who’s been their most consistent hitter, has jumped into the top five among catchers.
