Bandits strongarm employees to open safe

A business on the 1600 block of Tennessee Street was robbed Wednesday, cops said.

Two men in their early 30s were allowed into the business around 2:50 p.m., when one of them pulled out a gun and ordered one of the four employees there to open the safe, police said.

The crooks grabbed blank checks, cash and debit card and fled in a green Chevy, cops said.

No one was injured in the incident and no arrests have been made.
