Art gala benefits San Francisco Museum of Modern Art 

SF20/21: Modern art and design lovers attended a preview gala for SF20/21: San Francisco 20th Century Art and Design Show & Sale on Thursday at Fort Mason Center’s Festival Pavilion. The event, a benefit for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, was co-chaired by Katie Paige, Allison Speer and Stanlee Gatti; honorary co-chairs were Gina and Stuart Peterson.

Movers and shakers dine in style 

Moet Hennessy Financial Times Club dinner: John Ridding, chief executive officer of the Financial Times, and Jim Clerkin, chief executive of Moet Hennessy US, hosted an exclusive group of leaders in business, finance, technology and politics on Sept. 12 at Michael Mina restaurant in The City. Chef Mina created the menu;  Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook chief operating officer, was guest speaker.

Fashionable ladies support WAS Foundation 

The Red Party Gala & Auction: Rene Russo was the celebrity in attendance at the invitation-only Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome Foundation benefit Friday at an Atherton estate. Co-sponsored by KRON’s “Lives of Style,” the event’s guest list included some 300 fashionable women working to raise money to help boys diagnosed with the rare autoimmune disease, and to fund medical research.
