Armed robbers run amok in San Francisco during weekend 

In San Francisco, knives are still popular, but pepper spray and handguns will do in a pinch as some thugs proved this weekend. No arrests have been made.

18th Avenue and Geary Boulevard
6 p.m. Sunday

Two men, aged 27 and 24, were fighting a 20-year-old knife-wielding goon, who stabbed both victims. Their injuries were not life threatening.

200 block of 28th Street
7:45 p.m. Sunday

A 17-year-old boy was robbed of his iPhone by a 15-year-old knife-wielding punk.

400 block of Geneva Avenue
9:15 p.m. Saturday

A 21-year-old woman was robbed of her iPhone, cops said. The woman was sitting on a bench when the suspects, a man and woman in their 20s, sat down next to her. The female suspect grabbed the victim’s phone and fled. The victim chased after her only to be blasted in the face with pepper spray by the male crook.

3000 block of Mission Street
3 a.m. Saturday

A man and a woman, both in their 20s, were robbed at gunpoint by three creepy guys in a dark minivan, police said. The two victims were walking when the car pulled up. The crooks pointed a gun at the victims, who turned over their purse, cellphone and cash.
