Apply for a passport with no appointment 

Four San Francisco district post offices are hosting “passport fairs” for citizens to apply for passports with no appointment necessary.

The fairs will be Thursday at 1390 Market St. and 1849 Geary Blvd. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Saturday at 15 Onondaga Ave. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and at 1198 S. Van Ness Ave. from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Applicants need proof of U.S. citizenship and a valid form of photo identification, or if renewing, simply bring in your old passport. First-time applicants’ fee is $135 (photos not included); renewal is $110.
