A man apparently enraged over receiving a parking ticket in Noe Valley last weekend was cited for obstruction after reportedly challenging a cop to a fight.

“Come see me after work!” the cussing driver hollered to the officer after he was cited for blocking a driveway in the 1700 block of Church Street about 2 p.m. Saturday.

For that threatening outburst, police said, the suspect was arrested and his vehicle was towed. He also was found to have a large amount of cash and three white pills.

“The suspect admitted to taking the pills for an injury,” though he claimed he didn’t know what drug they were, police said.

The man was later cited and released from the Ingleside Police Station on the charge of delaying and obstructing officer duties.
