  • Amanda Bynes is reportedly doing better after a visit to rehab, even considering going back to college to major in Russian comparative literature — just kidding, she wants to study to be a fashion designer.
Amanda Bynes, who finally left rehab after being involuntarily hospitalized on a psychiatric hold in July, is home for the holidays with her family.

Her lawyer says she is “feeling better every day” and Bynes herself told In Touch magazine she is doing “very well.”

The Huffington Post reports that she is setting her sights on college, hoping to major in fashion design and then start her own line — no word on whether or not it will include haute couture wigs.

Despite her improved situation, Bynes was a no-show for her Thursday “bong-tossing” court date in Manhattan; the New York Daily News reports the judge looked “visibly irritated.”

The district attorney, giving her a pass, won’t issue a bench warrant. But the judge was clear that she better show up for her next court date … or else.
