Alleged staredown ends in shoe-hurling throwdown

An extra long stare led to flying fists and high heels outside a restaurant in the Richmond district, police said.

Three patrons, two males and a female, were followed out of the restaurant around 1 a.m. by three outraged women, police said.

The women accused the female patron of staring at them in the restaurant. She told the women they were mistaken, but that didn’t work. Two of the furious females began pummeling her with punches, while the third punched one of the male victims, police said.

The third male victim who wasn’t being assaulted pushed one of the female aggressors. She fell backwards into one of her friends, and they both stumbled to the ground, police said.

That made the feisty females angrier.

As the victims retreated, one of the suspects took off her high-heeled shoe and chased after them. The victims, to their luck, got away, fleeing without any further injury, police said.
