Alleged burglar performs his civic duty and turns himself in … sort of 

After testifying in a criminal case, one marked man didn’t have to worry about gangsters taking him down — but rather the cops, police said.

When the man walked into a courtroom at the San Francisco Hall of Justice on Monday, a cop who had recently viewed surveillance video of a burglary that had occurred in the 1400 bock of Fillmore Street said he instantly recognized him, police said.

The man “was the same guy on the videotape,” police said.

The cop and “several other officers waited for the suspect to leave the courtroom, and they then took him into custody,” police said.
