All Muni maps now reflect recent service changes

Muni riders still adjusting to the agency’s new service changes can now rely on updated system maps when plotting out their transit journeys.

Nearly one month after Muni implemented the most ambitious service shakeup in decades, the agency’s 1,070 transit maps — found on bus shelters, underground stations, and other loading points — now reflect the new changes. It cost the agency $9,200 to replace all the old maps, which outline the routes of every Muni transit line.

On December 5, over 60 percent of Muni’s transit lines were altered in some manner, including six bus lines that were eliminated completely. The agency embarked on a massive outreach campaign to alert its riders about the upcoming changes.
