Airport budget up for approval at commission meeting 

The capital and operating budgets for the San Francisco International Airport will be voted on Thursday by the airport’s governing body.

The Airport Commission is scheduled to take action on a $746 million proposed operating budget for the upcoming fiscal year, and a $780 million proposed operating budget for the 2011-12 fiscal year.

The Airport Commission will also vote on its long-term capital programming budget of $776.2 million. If approved, the agency will dedicate $68.9 million for capital projects in the upcoming fiscal year, and $88.4 million during the 2011-12 fiscal year.
