5-year-old girl attacked by homeless man in the Marina, police say

A 35-year-old homeless man was arrested by San Francisco police Wednesday for allegedly attacking a 5-year-old girl.

Police said the girl was walking with her mother in the Marina. After passing suspect Adras Kosdi, he grabbed the girl by the neck, lifted her up and pushed her into a wall, police said.

The girl sustained a bloody scratch and other injuries to her neck. The mother called 911 and officers responded to the scene. Kosdi was arrested and booked into the San Francisco county jail on suspicion of false imprisonment, aggravated assault and child abuse.
