  • The first NFL game held inside Levi’s Stadium will be in Week 2 of the preseason between the 49ers and Denver Broncos.
The 49ers’ first game at new Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara will be a preseason game against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.

The NFL released preseason schedules Wednesday and the game against Denver, which the 49ers will also play in the regular season, will take place the second week of the preseason (between Aug. 14-18), with an exact date and time to be announced.

The 49ers will open the preseason with a road game at the Baltimore Ravens in a rematch of Super Bowl XLVII that pits coaches and brothers Jim and John Harbaugh against one another. That game will be held between Aug. 7-10.

The 49ers’ final two preseason games are a home game against the San Diego Chargers on Aug. 24 at 1 p.m., a game that will be nationally televised by Fox, and a road game at the Houston Texans on Aug. 28.

The NFL’s regular-season schedule is expected to be announced in the next few weeks.
