The 36th annual St. Stupid's Day Parade followed tradition as revelers gathered at the foot of Market Street in outlandish costumes with noisemakers and silly signs in tow. The parade went down Market to a number of locations throughout the Financial District. The event is held on April Fools' Day and is sponsored by the First Church of the Last Laugh, updating the ancient European Feast of Fools, according to the group.
