2.5-magnitude quake strikes in Sonoma 

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.5 struck Thursday morning in Sonoma County.

According to the USGS, the earthquake struck just after 1 a.m. and had a depth of .9 mile.

The quake was centered at The Geysers and about 11 miles east of Cloverdale, according to the USGS.
